Even if you live in a dry area or a humid area, the summertime heat produces dust, which will track into your home and covers everything. That can be a real mess. And while the sun is beaming through the windows, it makes the dust floating around the air that much noticeable.

During the summer most people are taking vacations and getting away from their busy lives. The kids are on break from school and most likely time off from work has already been booked. With that said, there will be fewer people actively looking for homes at that time.

Even though there are fewer buyers, many sellers love selling in the summer because they think it’s more convenient. Therefore, you’re not just competing for fewer buyers to look at your house, you’re competing against more sellers. Therefore, it’s harder to sell your house and even harder to sell it at a price you want.
